Kathak is a prominent dance form of northern India. It has travelled a long path from the temples of ancient days old story-telling form to the Moughal courts and there after has ascended the golden ladder of success and is now an amalgamation of "Nritta", "Natya" and "Nritya".
Keeping continuously a pace with the changing trends. Kathak which can be performed solo, duet as well as in a group, has attained profound success even when put to test and experiments.
Kathak is among the seven major classical dances of India and one of the most dynamic theater arts in the world. The word Kathak is derived from katha, meaning "the art of storytelling."
